ABOUT EVERGREEN DENTAL

Dr. Gavin Steidl was born and raised in Winnipeg.  Dr. Steidl received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine in 1983 from the University of Manitoba. He and his team combine advanced dentistry with a gentle, friendly style.  He believes that excellence in dentistry lies in the relationships that he develops with his patients.

Only after listening to his patient’s goals and concerns does he attempt to address their dental needs. When planning care, he includes each patient as an active partner in the decision-making process to ensure that the outcome satisfies his patient’s desires and needs.

Dr. Brett was born in Winnipeg and raised in a small farming community of Fraserwood Manitoba. Dr. Brett went to St. Paul’s High School where he graduated with honours. He attended the University of Manitoba where he received a four year Bachelor of Science with distinction. While at the UofM he was the Senior Stick (president) of St. Paul’s College and graduated as Valedictorian in 2009. Dr. Brett graduated from the University of Manitoba Dental School in 2013 obtaining his D.M.D.

Personally Dr. Brett is a huge Winnipeg Jets fan. He can spend hours discussing the hockey smarts of Kyle Conner. He also makes a backyard rink every year that he takes pride in. Brett enjoys spending time with his family including his wife (Anna), his daughter Elizabeth and son Lukas. 

Professionally Dr. Brett strives for perfection. He has taken mini-residencies in oral surgery (wisdom teeth), implants and sedation. He is involved with the Spears study club and loves learning the latest technology in dentistry. 

Born and raised in Winnipeg, Dr. Stephan Kosowski graduated with honours from the University of Manitoba receiving his doctorate in dental medicine in 2012. As a lifelong commitment to growth and excellence, he is continually learning and refining new dental skills and techniques acquired from study groups, peer interactions and in-depth courses. His evidence-based mentality has fostered a loyal patient base.

Dr. Kosowski enjoys interacting with people and has volunteered his time in Peru to help service underprivileged communities with dental needs. He looks forward to continuing these trips in the post-pandemic era. In his free time, Stephan enjoys being active. Whether it’s hockey during the cold months or improving his golf game in the summer, you can find him hitting the pavement or at a local gym. On top of that, he secretly enjoys cooking and new recipe ideas.

Stephan is excited to be working at Evergreen Dental. He is passionate in his craft and especially gets excited about smile transformations and cosmetics. He takes pride in his relationships and is gladly accepting new patients and families. Ask him about a smile design, you’ll be surprised!

Dr. Eric Piché is a born and raised Franco-Manitoban from Winnipeg. Dr. Piché graduated from the University of Manitoba in 2021 with his doctorate of dental medicine and was awarded the American Association of Endodontists Award. He firmly believes that learning does not end in dental school and is committed to continuing his education and honing his skills. After graduation, Dr. Piché completed a 1-year hospital-based residency at Western University in London, Ontario. His residency provided him experience with dental surgeries and emergencies, IV sedation, oral pathology, and management of medically complex patients.

Away from work, Dr. Piché enjoys skiing and playing hockey in the winter and golfing in the summer. He also enjoys getting away and relaxing at his family cabin on Laclu, Ontario.

We are excited to have Dr. Piché join us at Evergreen Dental Centre as he is passionate about his work but above all else values the relationships he develops with patients. He is excited to meet his new patients and to help them with their dental and oral health needs.

Dr. Katie Davidson has spent the majority of her 11 years in practice focused on the care of children of all ages, including those with developmental and sensory challenges as well as anxiety. Dr. Katie is a graduate of the University of Manitoba, obtaining her B.Sc. in 2008 and her DMD and B.Sc.(Dent) in 2012. She’s be an executive member of the Winnipeg Dental Society since 2017 and is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. Outside of the office, Dr. Katie has a passion for music and sports – you can catch her performing on stage in the dentist musicals, strumming on her guitar, out for a run, playing a round of golf or cheering on the Jets and the Bombers!

She maintains a practice aimed at prevention, including phase one orthodontics and growth modification.

Born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Dr. Spencer Dutton earned a B.Sc in Biochemistry from the University of Winnipeg, followed by his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Manitoba in 2023. Dr. Dutton is a dedicated and compassionate dentist who is committed to staying at the forefront of the latest advancements in the field.

Dr. Dutton’s true passion lies in delivering exceptional dental care to each of his patients. Through active listening, he addresses their concerns and collaborates with them to develop personalized treatment plans. Creating a relaxed and welcoming environment, he ensures that every patient feels valued and understood. Dr. Dutton is devoted to providing a comfortable and gentle care experience for all procedures.

While dentistry remains his primary focus, Dr. Dutton leads an active lifestyle outside of the practice. During the summer months, you can find him on the golf course, honing his skills or enjoying quality time with family and friends at the cabin. During the colder months, he embraces the winter chill by playing hockey with friends. When he’s not practicing dentistry or pursuing physical recreation, you might catch him strategizing moves on the chessboard, embracing the mental challenges it offers.
